Living Goldenwell was born from lived experience and with a mission to transform the eldercare experience for family caregivers.

As a professional woman navigating the complex reality of caring for an aging parent, Kathleen found herself doing what so many women quietly do. Holding everything together on the outside while feeling unprepared, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn.

On paper, she had resources. In reality, she needed clarity, strategy, and support that actually fit the life she was living.

Rather than accept that this was just “how it goes,” Kathleen began building the space she wished had existed sooner. One that combined education with empathy. Strategy with humanity. Real guidance without judgment.

Drawing on her professional background, deep research into eldercare systems and family caregiving, and countless conversations with women walking a similar path, she created Living Goldenwell and the Caregiving From The Middle community. The place where talking about aging parent care is the norm and where women come to connect with women all over the world who are going through it.
